70’s romance

What isn’t romantic about springtime? Let’s talk flowers, and cherry blossoms, and blossoming opportunities… and to add to that, every girl needs that one particular spring dress, one that transitions from winter to spring. That one dress that you can wear with a motorcycle jacket or cashmere sweater in the evening when the sun begins to set. The kind of dress that can suit the perfect afternoon brunch, or compliment a day of shopping! We all know how getting our hands on the perfect winter carryover dress, is really all about the balance.

In this balancing act, I went for a romantic silhouette. And since I love a good maxi dress, I couldn’t dare pass up a floral wrap style with a gorgeous bloom print that middles somewhere between the early 1970’s, and the ‘new daisy’ predictions for spring 2016.

This ‘wrap maxi dress’ is by far, thee most coveted accessory for spring!  Sitting pretty amongst my most favorite timeless dress shape, this one I promise will never go out of style.

And if you love the 1970’s as much as I do, I hope this look will serve as inspiration on hunting for the perfect transitional dress for spring. P.s. beyond happy to introduce to you my little fur baby, Victory. 🙂 She loves to be caught behind the scenes with my camera!

  1. @janiyastylist I’ve been waiting for blog posts from you Yayayay and Yesss! All the candid and lovely photos of you in the dress are beautiful. Thank you for the words to the wise styling tips. The blog itself was so refreshing to read, easy, breezy and delightful. And that dress, so modern-chic-70’s/boho beautiful
